We lost a good one this week with the passing of Stephen Davey who passed away in Perth from pneumonia. Premiership player, long serving committee man, team manager, stats man - there was not a job Steve would not offer
to do. It is no surprise he was a Life Member. Steve was much loved by all and sundry. He was at Elsternwick Park last GF Day and was mobbed (Steve had lived in Perth for many years). Many heart felt tributes have been offered this week. Perhaps the most appropriate comes from Murray Tempany - "Thanks for passing on the news. Any future SKOB reunion won't be the same." Steve was in his 67th year.
