The SKOBFC community lost one of their great supporters in the last week.
Mrs Vivienne Kerr passed away recently. Mother, mother-in-law and grandmother of many that have played with SKOB - with her extended family including multiple Kerrs - Greg, Stephen, Michael, James, Andrew and Dan - with Tom (u19 coach), Patrick, and Joseph all being current SKOB players, also Kevin and Jack Mullen. Viv's son Stephen who Chairs our Foundation Board, daughter Judy (Mullen) and granddaughter Ruby are Foundation Board members. Viv donated to the Foundation "in acknowledgement of the enjoyment, friendship and sport provided to Laurie and Vivienne Kerr and the extended family through St.Kevin's and SKOBFC and the great game of Aussie Rules. Long may it continue through the work of the Foundation."
Viv was married to Laurie (dec. 2001) for 53 years and their brood extended to 9 children, 35 grandchildren and another 40 great grandchildren.
Viv was #1 ticket holder for the Carlton Football Club, but she often was spotted at SKOB games giving tremendous support from the sidelines.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Kerr family as we remember a great person.
