The SKOBFC Community lost another great supporter last week with John “Jack/Joffa” Hannon passing away after a short illness.
Joffa was a great schoolboy footballer (SKC ’75) but unfortunately his playing career was curtailed by a serious car accident. A strong commitment to SKOBFC saw Joffa take on the role as the runner for 3 Ressies coaches in the 1980’s. A life long supporter of SKOBFC only matched by his support of the SKOB Cricket Club.
His memorial was attended by a large contingent of the SKOBFC community. His lifelong best mate Chris Nettlefold gave a wonderful reflection of his life, with many past players and the Club featuring strongly throughout the journey as we remembered this “good bloke”.
Our thoughts and prayers to the Hannon family and all his friends.
RIP Joffa
