Vale Ian Burnside

SKOB were saddened to hear of the passing of former Club Captain Ian Burnside. ‘Bernie’ joined SKOBs in 1961 and went on to play 118 games over a 10 yr career. Won Best First Year Player in 1961 and was Club Captain from 1964-1966. Took SKOB into B Grade in 1965 for only the second time in their history and became Reserves Coach in 1967.

Ian Burnside died earlier this week, aged 88. Our thoughts are with his wife Anne and family.
