It's taken three years, but the SKOB Saints are back to back Premiers in VAFA Premier Women's Division. After a tight three quarters, SKOB dominated the final term and ran out winners by 23 points - 5.9.39 to 2.4.16.
Fittingly, the match brought together the two best teams in the competition in 2022 and the match was as even as these teams have been all season. It was a tight tussle all day until SKOB put the foot down in the last quarter to run out champs. Congrats to Tom Purcell and his coaching staff and supporters and of course congratulations to all the players for a magnificent season.

Earlier our Saints Blue put on a brave performance against the raging hot favourites in the Reserves division and almost pulled off an upset, going down by 9 points to West Brunswick. In a match where no quarter was given by either side, the Magpies were just a little better on the day - congratulations to them. Well done to all the players and to Christian Strauss and his coaching team - congrats for a stellar season.

It's been a tremendous season all round for the SKOB Saints. Fielding three teams (Green, Gold and Blue) and over 100 players, all three teams made their respective Grand Finals with two (Green and Gold) winning the premiership cup in their grades. It's an amazing achievement, and one that everyone involved with should be extremely proud.
