Old Man Winter gave us a blast of his chilly best last week, but this weekend is looking almost balmy by comparison. What better way to celebrate the sun's out, than to slop on some sunscreen and get down to see some SKOB action. Our Senior men head to Elsternwick Park to renew a monster rivalry, it's mostly feet up for the Women's teams this week, whilst the 19s get another triple header at the King. You can get your footy fix on Saturday then go see your mum on Sunday - perfect.

The men's Seniors and Reserves are playing at Elsternwick Park Oval against Old Xavs in another chapter of a much vaunted rivalry. The Xavs are without a home deck this season so are playing "host" at the VAFA HQ which will provide a perfect locale for what is shaping to be a prelude to September for both these teams. SKOB played well here a fortnight ago against Old Melburnians, but Xavs form has been strong too and they will be hard to beat. It promises to be a mouthwatering encounter. Our Academy team is also up against Old Xavs with the match being played at Stradbroke Park in Kew at 9:20am. Good luck to Ollie and Krushers' lads in that big game.

The Women's Gold and Blue both have a bye this weekend so the Saints flag will be flown solo by the mighty Saints Green machine. They were a little light on for troops last weekend so with byes for the other teams they will hopefully be back to the full complement for their match against Kew at Victoria Park in Kew. Game starts at the salubrious hour of 2:00pm. Prime Time

At TH King we have 3 Under 19 games 9:20, 11:40 and 2:00 pm starts - with the Div teams both playing against Old McKinnon/Glen Eira, and the Premier team up against De La Salle. After dropping their opening round game, the Premier boys have won the next three and are now at the top of the table. It's a tight comp with only one win separating 1st down to 9th. De La are sniffing the top four and will be a tough opponent. It should be a great game. Get down to TH King and follow the junior action if you can't get to HQ.

Whatever you do, have a great weekend - Happy Mothers Day to all the brilliant Mums out there - and go SKOB.
