Note: The Australian Sports Foundation are clear in regard to donations made via their platform. They require all donors to confirm as follows (when a donation is made via their entity):“This donation is made to the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) for the benefit of the nominated fundraiser. I accept the ASF's Terms and Conditions governing donations and its Privacy Policy. To the best of my knowledge, my relatives, other associates and I will not benefit in any material way from this donation.”Accordingly, payments made via the ASF offer the donor the ability to tax deduct the portion of the donation not giving a material benefit to them, their family or associate’s.
