OX grab bragging rights in first battle of ’22
The great rivalry continued on the weekend with another tense battle fought right to the siren, culminating in a worthy chapter in the ongoing story of two teams who always put it all out on the park for their supporters. The only downer for SKOB was that they finished on the wrong side of the ledger on this occasion. The home team got the jump on SKOB in the first quarter and despite countless fightbacks throughout the afternoon, SKOB couldn’t get their noses back in front, ultimately going down by 9 points. Certainly not for want of effort, SKOB will take plenty out of the game but left 4 points behind at Toorak Park and will be smarting until they get a chance for redemption in about a months time.
