The atmosphere was electric and the company eclectic last night at TH King as players from across all teams gathered for a meal and a drink to ring in the new Season. Coaches announced the lineups amidst a cacophony of cheers and various hair rustling activity as the excitement of returning to action reached fever pitch.
Debutants names were loudly applauded and team leaders roundly saluted as their names were called by the various coaches.
A terrific turnout across the board - something senior Coach Anthony Lynch hopes will be repeated this Saturday when SKOB hosts Old Melburnians at the venue for Round One. We strongly urge all supporters and players to get to TH King. There are still a few spots available for the pre-game lunch - and you can book here.
Good luck to all the teams - there will be 9 sides representing SKOB this weekend - and above all just enjoy getting back out there.
