Molan Cup is on the line this Saturday

The Molan Cup is always a keen battle

On Saturday at TH King, St Kevins and De La Salle will battle for the Molan Cup - a trophy struck in recognition of De La Salle player Anthony 'Doc' Molan who passed away after collapsing during a match between the two clubs in 2003. Anthony was a fifth year Medical Student at Monash and player for the De La Warriors. His passing was felt deeply at both Clubs with whom he shared many friends and family.

Since that time the Molan Cup has been contested, firstly between the Club XVIII teams, then more lately by the Seniors at both Clubs. SKOB are the current holders and will be hard pressed to remain so given the intensity shown by both teams whenever they compete for it.

Good luck to both sides playing for the Molan Cup this weekend
