When Old Brighton booted the first goal of the final quarter at the 2 minute mark to stretch out to a 28 point lead, even the staunchest SKOB supporter would have thought it a bridge too far. But from that point on SKOB completely dominated the game, winning centre clearances at will - owning the ball in their forward half .
Scoring the last 31 points of the game, SKOB were wasteful in front of the sticks (4.7) but did enough to reel in the 28 point margin, hitting the front late following a brilliant smother and some clever work by Billy Kanakis to set up the go ahead goal for Cam Hodges.

SKOB recruit Riley Bowman was a tower of strength in the ruck and it was his dominance - particularly in the final quarter - feeding the on ball division with silver service in the centre and all around the ground. In only his second game for the Club, Riley has already proved to be a great acquisition.
