In just their third year playing at this level, the SKOB Masters have broken through for their first Premiership after defeating Box Hill North in the Central Division AFL Masters Grand Final on Sunday. Scores: SKOB 6.11.47 def Box Hill North 5.3.33
It was a great win to cap off a terrific season for the Masters. An extra special occasion for Captain Dave Sheehy who played in his 300th game - becoming only the fourth SKOB player in history to achieve this milestone.
Mike Mccullagh was dominant in the ruck all day and was duly awarded the trophy for best afield, whilst Tom Simpson, Ricky Caldow and Dave Sheehy were great contributors.
Congratulations to Coach Damien Ryan, Assistant Steve O'Connor and all the players and support staff on a fantastic season.
